What we do
Ground work,
done right the first time.
Here is what we do. If your project isn't on the list, call anyway. There's a good chance we can handle it.
Shredding and mowing
Overgrown pasture, weeds taller than a fence post, a lot that got away from you over a wet summer. We shred it back down to ground you can walk across.
Land clearing
Brush and growth taken off so the property is usable again, whether you're building on it, running cattle on it, or just tired of looking at it.
Storm shelter installation
We dig it, set it and backfill it, placed where you want it on your property. Panhandle weather doesn't give much notice, so it's worth having one before you need it.
Skid steer auger work
Fence post holes, tree holes, footings for foundations and retaining walls. Anywhere you need a clean hole in hard ground, the auger beats a shovel and a long afternoon.
Pipe fence and corral construction
Pipe fence, pens and working corrals. Set square, set deep, built to hold stock and stay standing through Panhandle wind.
Driveway and lot grading
Driveways, pads and lots graded so water runs off instead of standing in the middle of them. New cuts, or fixing one that has rutted out on you.
Caliche and gravel hauling
We haul caliche and gravel in and spread it, for a new drive, a pad, or a road that has washed out. Same trip for hauling material off a job if you need it gone.

Who you are hiring
Tristan and Natalia Schueler.
TNS Prairie Land is Tristan and Natalia Schueler. We started the company in 2026 out of Canyon, and we run it ourselves. The person who gives you the estimate is the person on the machine.
We were raised to work hard and keep our word, and we treat somebody else's land the way we'd want ours treated. Our faith is a big part of how we do business, mostly in the plain sense of it: we tell you what a job will cost, we show up when we said we would, and we clean up after ourselves.
The Panhandle is home. We would rather build a name here one project at a time than chase volume.
We carry insurance, and we come out and walk the property before we quote anything. Every job is priced on what it actually takes, not off a rate card.

We're based in Canyon and work a 200 mile radius out of it. Most of our jobs are in Canyon, Amarillo, Hereford, Happy, Fritch and Borger, and we go the rest of that circle when the project is worth the drive. If you're outside it, call and ask anyway.

Are you insured?
Yes. TNS Prairie Land LLC carries insurance on our work. If your project or your HOA needs proof, ask and we'll get it to you before we start.
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. Estimates are free. We price every job on its own, and we almost always come out and walk the property first so the number we give you is the number the job actually takes.
How far do you travel?
We work a 200 mile radius out of Canyon, Texas. That covers Amarillo, Hereford, Happy, Fritch, Borger and most of the Panhandle. If you're outside that circle, call and ask anyway.
What hours can I call?
7am to 7pm, seven days a week, at (806) 459-0991. You can also text a photo of the project to the same number, which is usually the fastest way to get an answer.
What equipment do you run?
A skid steer with an auger and a box blade, plus a dump trailer for hauling. That handles most dirt work, clearing, grading, post holes and material hauling on residential and rural property.
Do you haul in caliche and gravel?
Yes. We haul caliche and gravel in and spread it for driveways, pads and rural roads, and we can haul material off a job site if you need it gone.
